Born in 1953 Patiala, Punjab, India.1970-75: Five
Year Diploma in Painting, College of Art, Punjab University, Chandigarh.
1976-77: Taught at the Fine Arts Department, College for Women,
Punjabi University, Patiala, India. 1980-85: Taught at the Delhi
College of Art, New Delhi. 1985-87: M.A. Painting, Royal College
of Art, London. Charles Wallace Scholarship.
1979
National Award, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. 1986 Sanskriti Award,
New Delhi.
Lives and works in New Delhi, India.
