Painting of a man contemplating empty space...video fades in, giving him breath. He strikes the air in front of him with a hammer, at the point of impact a white horse appears who begins to fade as soon as she appears. The seamless loop is punctuated by falling of water drops in the pan behind him, measuring time. A Kuon is played out in an affirmative Sisyphean cycle of desire, mental effort, labour, loss and momentary attainment.
